Riley's Garden!
This is my contribution to this week's challenge SC174 over at SCS. I had alot of fun making it but it was a bit of a challenge to fill out such a big card. The measurements for this card are 8 x 9 1/4". It is quite a challenge have enough on the card front. I am pleased with how this turned out but did wish that I had the oval nestabilities. I would have preferred to have a scalloped edge. I used my coluzzle instead. I just love this little guy Riley. I think he is so cute.
I used my copics again to color the image. I think I am getting a bit more used to these but am not there yet for sure. They are different than other coloring mediums to use. Practice makes perfect my Mom used to say. I also used the copic to color the M's dew drops with. Words perfect.
I am still having trouble taking pictures of my cards. There just doesn't seem to be enough light in my stamp room or something. I have tried numerous things and still can't get the kind of picture that I am used to taking. I have to take at least 6 or 7 before I can pick one that is half decent and they often look good on the camera and no on the computer. Need to practice that more too I think.
Recipe:
Stamps: Riley in the garden, M's 1.50 stamps
Paper: Groovy Guava, Whisper White, Dp from SU called Ginger Blossom
Ink: Pallett Noir, SU Classic Black
Accessories: Copics, Coluzzle, punch, M's dew drops, ric rac ribbon
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
See you soon
