Happy 40th Birthday Tanya!

Today is my sister Tanya's 40th Birthday. I thought of her when I bought this stamp a while ago now so I just coulnd't wait to give it to her. Today we had our first snow storm and I just had to make it to Tanya's before the storm got really bad. Outside right now is really bad for sure. I woulnd' t want to have to go out now in this. Of course my daughter Staci is hoping that it will continue tomorrow and she will have no school. Who knows. We will have to wait and see. Right now I am so glad that all my family is home and safe. Tanya really liked this card so I was so glad. I felt good about this card.

Last card from the CTMH workshop!

This is such a versatile set. I think I will definately be using it alot to make my Christmas cards. It is a new set from CTMH this year called Holiday Trinkets. This is a set of 14 and in case you never noticed I used this card on my other card which had the trees on it. Very versatile set indeed.

The new paper is called Jingle and I think it is just so cute.

Listen to me I sound like an avertisement for CTMH. Well when you find something that you like you should tell others about it I think. I really like the CTMH sets. I prefer the acrylic sets over the rubber ones. They are just so easy to use and and you can see where you want to place them on the paper before yous stamp.

I hope you all are getting ahead of your Christmas crafts. So much work and so little time to do them.

Will be back soon with some teacher sets to show you.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I made this card at a workshop a couple of weeks ago. I have to appologize that I haven't posted it earlier but I have just been really busy catching up on some Christmas projects. I hope to show them all to you soon.

How are you all doing with your Christmas preparations? For years I have been behind and rush to catch up and it seems that this year is going to be the same. I had really hoped that this wouldn't be the case but ...

Second CTMH Workshop Card!

This is the second card that I made at the CTMH workshop last weekend. I prefer this layout to the others. I prefer the curve at the bottom than the side.

This card I used the new set called Holiday Trinkets. It is a pretty versatile set I think and I have another card that I made using this set as well to show you soon.

Hope you all are getting lots of work started on your Christmas cards and of course shopping. I haven't started my shopping yet but I will real soon.

I will be back soon with another card to show you from the workshop.

Enjoy your evening.

Been Awhile!

Last weekend I was at a CTMH workshop where we made 24 cards. I decided to make 6 of four different designs. I never wanted to make 24 of the same design.

It was alot of fun but it is always so nice to get out with stamping friends and be productive.

This is the first of four that I will be showing you.

I have been busy lately making cards and projects with friends. I have lots to show over the next little while.

This set is called Ms. Holiday Cheer. It is so fun. I think my daughters friends will like this one for sure.

Well Hello Doggie!

I made this birthday card for my daughter to give to her friend for her birthday. S he was pleased with how it turned out.

I bought this image from Whipper Snapper a little while ago. I think it is just so cute. One can never have enough dog stamps when you are an animal lover.

Hope you all are enjoying your Halloween night. We haven't had many trick or treaters tonight at all. I guess it has something to do with the H1N1. Can't blame people on keeping their kids home.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I will be back soon with another card to show you.

Cheers!

Pointsettia!

Hello again. I hope you all are feeling well and not getting that aweful virus H1N1.
So far me and my family haven't been sick with it. We are lucky so far. Hopefully it will stay that way.

I bought this stamp at a lss here in St. John's last year but never got around to using it. I think you may just see a few more cards using this stamp. I embossed this image first and then I watercolored it with reinkers. I enjoy coloring and this is the newest one for me to try and master. Master is the right word but you know what I mean if you have tried many different mediums to color with. Anyway ..

I will be back tomorrow with another card that I made using A Whipper Snapper Dog stamp that I have used before but think he is just so cute. I made this for my daughter to give to her friend Gabby for her birthday. She really liked it.

Stay warm, enjoy the weekend!

Ev's 54th Birthday!

I made this card for my husband for his birthday yesterday. It reminded me so much of him and our dog Lilly. They are real buddies. He had a nice birthday. We are having birthday dinner and cake tonight.

I just love these purrs and pants stamps. Not very many companies have stamps that are so much like our dog Lilly. I was so happy to find them.

This is the fourth card that I made at the workshop the other day. I thought that it was nice but really I also think that it needs something else. Some type of emblishment. If I make it again I will definately be adding something to it.

Wow! Can't Believe How Long It Has Been!

This is the first card that I have made in a long time. It feels so good to be back at stamping again. I have really missed it.

I made this Thank You for my husband to give to someone he did house plans for. He was pleased with how it turned out. I really should have gotten this done for him a couple of months ago and god love him he never kept nagging for me to get it done he would just give me a small hint from time to time. Thank you Ev for that.

I bought this stamp set months ago from Whipper Snapper. My friend Kelly and I placed our order together so we could save on the shipping. It is expensive for us to order from there. That way we both win. I really liked this set from the first time I saw it on their site.

Sorry this is short and sweet but I have had a very long day and am ready for some shut eye.

Will be back real soon with another card to share with you.

Cheers

Finally Got Some Stamping Done!

I bought this image awhile back and just haven't had time to stamp lately so this was a real treat getting to do this.

I just love this image. He is so cute.

I thought that he would go nicely with the SU paper that I have had awhile now.

I know that I haven't been here for awhile but it seems that life has just gotten so busy since I have been trying to lose weight. It is well worth it as I feel so much better but I do miss making some cards as well.

I am really hoping ot be back real soon.

Tks so much for visiting.

Take care. Enjoy your summer.

Hello Again!

Nice to be back here once again. Sometimes life just gets right in the way of cardmaking. I know, I know it has been way too long since I have posted anything.

Hopefully things will stay as they are and I can get back to doing what I love. Making cards. I have been trying to get together with my friend Kelly for a few weeks now and haven't been able for one reason or another. When we do get together we always have such fun and have such great chats. I miss that too. Soon I hope.

Me and Kelly ordered some Whipper Snapper Stamps together so we could save on the shipping. Works for both of us.

For anyone who knows me that know that I am a big cat lover. When I saw this image I just had to add it to my collection. I think it is so cute.

Recipe:

Stamps: Whipper Snapper Hearts Kitty, Magnetic stamps
Ink: Momento black
Paper: animal paper from Michael's, In color, very vanilla
Accessories: Ribbon, cuttlebug, nesties, hardware, crystal effects, copics, su punches

I had alot of fun making this one. Hope to be back again real soon.

Happy Birthday Month!

This month is the one of the year that there are so many birthdays. Mine is one of them next week. Can't believe that I will soon be 47. Where did that time go. Seems like only yesterday that I was only 20 something. I have to say that I don't feel 47 though. Which is a good thing. My daugher and step daughter also have birthdays this month. Actually today is my step daughter Nikita's birthday. She is 22 today.

I am not sure who I will be giving this card to yet but I just loved this image when I saw it.

A short time ago me and my friend Kelly placed an order with Whipper Snapper together as their shipping is way too expensive. Works for me. I am so glad to have some new image to color. In case you never knew, I just love to color. Stamping just gives me the excuse to keep doing it.

Hope to see you again real soon.

Take care and enjoy the weekend.

Happy Mother's Day to all you Mother's out there.

Enjoy your day!

Anita's New House!

Been awhile since I have been on here. I kinda lost my mojo as I have been so busy trying to lose weight that I guess it has consumed me. It sure is alot of work but well worth it I think. To date I have lost 21.6 lbs. I am very pleased with my results. I joined Weight Watchers. It worked for me before so there is absolutely no reason why it won't now. I will let you know more of my progress as I go on.

I made this card for my friend Anita who recently purchased a new home. Anita and her family have been a part of my life now for over a year. I met Anita through an email. She sent me an email to tell me that my online friend of many years Dave Knuth had passed away. Ever since that I have been chatting back and forth on emails. I just wanted to show her how happy I am for her finally being able to get a bigger home that she had wanted for such a long time. Anita has become a wonderful friend. My only regret is that I never knew her when her brother Dave was alive. He would have loved for us to be friends. Strange how things work out sometimes.

I had this wheeel for a long time now and this is the first time that I made anything with it. I really like it.

I hope Anita likes her card.

I will be back tomorrow night with another card that I finished this evening.

Enjoy the sun!

Reveal Card for My Little Sis!

I made this card for my little sis for the SCS DSS. I saw this stamp at Michael's and thought that it was so cute. I don't have many Easter cards so this was a nice addition to my collection.

I haven't been posting lately because I lost my Mojo once again,. Everything I started I threw out in the garbage. This was the first one that I have been pleased with for awhile.

I finally got to use up some of the SU DP that I have had for awhile. I love this color combination together. It is Rose Red and So Saffron. I think the compliment each other nicely.

Hope to be back soon with something new.

Staci's Exercise Journal!

On Sunday I was over at my friend Kelly's for a few hours. We had decided that we would make exercise journals. She had this sweet image and paper that I just had to borrow. I knew that Staci would love the paper as it looks like something a teenage would like.

This is the first time that I got to try some Whipper Snapper Stamps and I have to say that I just love them. They are so fun to color and are so whimsical. Great images.

I got to try out my new Cuttlebug alphabet that I got at a great bargain at our local hardware store. They are nomally $99 and I got them for $25. A great find indeed. I have always wanted a set but would never pay the money. This set is sweet, don't you think?

I have alot of fun making this and most of all Staci loved it so that made it for me. Hopefully she will use it though.

Today was a beautiful day here. Can't believe it was actually 11 degrees in March. A great break indeed. Maybe, just maybe we might get a Spring for a change. Living in Newfoundland we don't normally get a spring. Winter just goes right on through till May at least. A nice break today for sure. We can even see grass.

Hope you all are enjoying your week.

Will be back soon with another project.
Until then take care and enjoy yourself.
